Landscape of Homeland I is where I approach landscape and memory through objects, forms, touch, and sensation. Ceramics become a means of materialising memory, holding traces of my intimate connection to a familiar landscape.

The landscapes of my homeland are imprinted in my sense of touch and bodily memory. When my hands press into the earth, familiar sensations return, drawing my entire body into the depths of childhood memories and a profound sense of belonging to the land. In these moments, an intuitive language emerges, through which I leave traces of my own body on the earth’s surface—marks shaped by time, touch, and lived experience. These traces seem to hold both the beauty and the pain of loss embedded in this land.
